“Aim High!” means what it says that one must cherish far-reaching ideas. It implies a noble and profound idea that national independence should be achieved at any cost by fighting through generations and a new society whose masters are the people should be built. The idea of “Aim High!” was advanced by Kim Hyong Jik (1894-1926), an outstanding leader of the Korean anti-Japanese national liberation movement. Kim Hyong Jik was born of a patriotic and poor peasant family at Mangyongdae, Pyongyang, on July 10, 1894. At that time dark clouds of national ruin hung heavily over Korea due to the aggression of the Japanese imperialism. Japan that fought wars against China (1894-1895) and Russia (1904-1905) to gain control of the Korean peninsula finally occupied it militarily in 1905. Kim Hyong Jik formed on March 23, 1917 the Korean National Association that was the largest anti-Japanese underground revolutionary organization at home and abroad at that time.

Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, gave field guidance to the March 16 Factory and set forth the task for its updating.
He looked round rooms devoted to the education in revolutionary history and to the history of the factory, which was founded on March 16, 1977 and developed into a large-scale truck producer significantly conducive to developing the economy of the country and building up its defense capability under the care of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- The Second Plenum of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea took place in the capital city of Pyongyang on Oct. 7, Juche 106 (2017).
Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), guided the meeting.
Attending the meeting were members and alternate members of the WPK Central Committee and members of the Central Auditing Commission of the

November, 2017 Statement of DPRK NCC for Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism
Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the National Coordinating Committee of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) for Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on Thursday as regards the fact that an international financial supervisory body once again made a scene of adopting anti-DPRK statements: A plenary meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on Anti-Money Laundering, an international financial supervisory body, was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina,from November 1 to 3. Adopted at this meeting were an "open statement", that runs through with stereo-typed allegations such as the DPRK's failure to address the deficiencies in its anti-money laundering, and an additional "statement" calling for effective implementation of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) "resolutions" in order to stop the DPRK's financing of proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). We strongly reject these statements as an unjust measure taken by the FAFT which has become extremely politicized due to the pressure from the U.S.

11, November, 2017 Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsong Tractor Factory
Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, gave field guidance to the Kumsong Tractor Factory which successfully carried out the task for production of new-type tractors, entrusted by the Party, in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.
He looked round the room for education in the revolutionary history and the room dedicated to the history of the factory.
Noting that President Kim Il Sung visited the factory 34 times and leader Kim Jong Il ten times, he said that, through the figures alone, one can well know about the immortal guidance feats performed by the great leaders for the development of the Juche-based tractor industry.

Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on Wednesday as regards the fact that the U.S. re-listed the DPRK as a "state sponsor of terrorism": On November 21, the U.S. made a scene of re-listing the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) as a "state sponsor of terrorism". Following Trump's reckless remark on the UN arena of "totally destroying" our country, the U.S. labeled the DPRK as a "state sponsor of terrorism" this time. This is a serious provocation and a violent infringement upon our dignified country. Since 1979 the U.S. has been labeling the countries that are not obedient to it as "state sponsors of terrorism". Six years have passed since Chairman Kim Jong Il of the DPRK National Defence Commission passed away on December 17, 2011. Those years were the days of boundless yearning of the Korean people for the Chairman and those of unfailing and noble sense of moral obligation to him.
